Austrian forces are
traditional enemies of Italians, and their attitude is more brutal.
In a secret memorandum to the officers they start the so-called
Procedure Radetzky, on the basis of which they execute without
process 10 Italian women out of 100 captured: the aim of this
terrorist actions is to discourage resistance, because the bodies of
the victims are left unburied for everybody to see. This cruel method
is successful, the Italians surrender, and the Austrians occupy the
East of the country, destroying all monuments dedicated to the
victories of Italians against the Austrians in the XIX century and
WW1
